Using experiences to teach life lessons
Talented young people can miss out on a successful future if they don’t have the necessary skills to help them succeed. Given the right mentorship and an understanding of the bigger world, we believe young people can change their circumstances and create a better life.
Our MissionTo help young people develop the life skills needed to make a positive impact in their community.
What We Offer |
Our all-volunteer staff of proven leaders understand the skills, traits, and characteristics of strong leadership, and they use a combination of experiences, education, and service to share those lessons.
Experiences (Some Examples) - sailing, swim lessons, visiting a farm or business, State Fair, college/campus visits, museums, nature walks, going to the zoo, Best Buy’s Teen Tech Center, etc. Education - a variety of vibrant leaders share their stories, challenges, and advice on the pathways to success. Service – activities that brighten/serve the community, teach servant leadership, and create bonding for our participants. |
